The overhangs of the roofs and floors, combined with the walls with sliding doors and shutters allow for ventilation while the sun part is kept out for the most part. Throughout the house the indoor climate is therefore very enjoyable. Also, the use of air conditioners in the bedrooms is not necessarily, this benefits the (high local) electricity costs.
