The Real Estate Agency of Curacao tells: Feel the sand between your toes, the salt of the sea on your skin and the sun on your whole body. There is actually not one beach on Curacao that stands out with flying colors above all other beaches and is called “the most beautiful beach in Curacao”. On Curacao you will find many beautiful beaches, some of which may be among the finest in the world.

There is a children’s playground, a fairly large swimming pool and showers and toilets. On Sundays you can join for a barbecue lunch. There is an admission fee.

Klein Curacao
Curaçao’s longest and whitest beach is on Klein Curaçao, an uninhabited end southeast of Curaçao, located 13 kilometers off the coast. Dive operators and charter boats take people to this out-of-this-world volcanic rock for beach parties, picnics and for a fantastic swim in the ocean. The coast is covered in soft, white sand and the water is crystal clear, but there is little shade. The northeast side usually has calm water and calm waves. If you want to go there, check with the dive operators or sailing charter companies to see if there are trips where the package includes diving, snorkeling, refreshments, a picnic or a barbecue lunch.

Avila’s Beach
Centrally located in the Pietermaai neighborhood (near a megapier), Avila Beach Hotel has two private beaches. Both are shielded from strong winds and high waves by breakwaters offshore. This allows visitors to enjoy calm waters uninterrupted. The breakwaters make it ideal, especially for small children, to float in the calm ocean while enjoying the turquoise waters or admiring the beautiful house reef while snorkeling. The palm trees scattered on the white beaches provide plenty of shade from the sun, but we also offer umbrellas and palapas (similar to small tiki huts with one pole).
